Obituary of Varvara Zhurbich

Varvara Zhurbich, 90, widow of Ivan Zhurbich, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022. She was born in Rivne, Ukraine on December 5, 1931 to the late Ivan Antonyuk.  

Mrs. Zhurbich was a homemaker most of her life before moving to the United States in her 60s and was a member of Ukraine Pentecostal Church, Brannon Rd.  

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Galina (Volodimir) Lesik, Anna Patrikey, Tetiana (Victor) Feskov; sons, Ivan (Zhanna) Zhurbich, Vasiliy (Anna) Zhurbich, Nikolay (Nadya) Zhurbich, Roman (Valentina) Zhurbich, Boris (Lena) Zhurbich; 28 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.  

Mrs. Zhurbich was a proud mother and grandmother who loved knitting and embroidering. She also had a love for puppies and kittens, especially her little “Jack”.  

A funeral service will be held Monday, September 19, 2022 at 12PM at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Graveside service will follow at 3PM at Rose Crest Cemetery, Versailles.
