Obituary of Taliyah LaShae Thomas

Taliyah LaShae Thomas, 15, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022. She was born in Lexington on November 30, 2006 to Troy and Tracy Anglin Thomas. Taliyah was a student at Franklin County High School where she was very active in Archery and Band. She loved animals and drawing. She worked concessions for the City of Frankfort Parks and Recreation.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brothers, Tavion Thomas, Frankfort, and Trey (Jessica Rollins) Thomas, Lexington; her maternal grandmother, Virgie See; her maternal grandfather, Philip (Robbie) Anglin; and her niece, Layla Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Donna McQue; her paternal grandfather, Robert Turner; her maternal grandfather, Harry See; and her maternal grandmother, Betty Hockensmith Anglin.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Juniper Hills Pavillion in Frankfort at 5:00 pm, anyone is welcome. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society.
