Obituary of Philip Peffer
Philip Lee Peffer, 64, passed away on Tuesday September 6, 2022. A native of Frankfort, he was born on September 9, 1957 to Mary Lewis Peffer and the late Howard Peffer Sr. Philip was a Tool and Die Maker, he retired from Lexmark but worked the majority of his career for Metro Tool. He enjoyed hunting, working on cars, and his family above all. Philip was saved at the Light of the House Ministry, and enjoyed gospel music. Philip was the “Go to” man for anything and everything. He was the best father you could ask for, no better man, and a true rock to his family.
He is survived by his sweetheart of 20 years, and wife for 11 years, Trita Spaulding Peffer, Frankfort; his mother Mary Lewis Peffer, Lawrenceburg; five children, Stacy Millay (David) Nicholasville, Renee Peffer, Frankfort, Bethany Howard (Derrick), Danville, Brittany Gipson, Lexington, Christian “Bub” Willoughby, Frankfort; sister Karen Peffer, Lawrenceburg; brother, Howard “Bucky” Peffer, Lawrenceburg; grandchildren, Cody, Christian Tyler, Austin, Korei, Truston, Max, Molly “Woman”, and Row; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother, Richard “Ricky” Peffer and a grandson, Blain.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, September 12, 2022, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Pastor David Millay and Pastor Jason Green officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casket bearers will be Daniel Johnson, Cody Ward, Christian Tyler Brown, Austin Burgin, Christian “Bub” Willoughby, Joseph Riley, and Shawn Lillard. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of service on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
