Obituary of Wilma Bell Cracraft

Wilma Gayle Bell Cracraft passed from this life into eternity to join many loved ones on August 30, 2022. Wilma was born on May 7, 1936 in Kelat, Harrison County, Kentucky to the late Piercy and Irene Bell. Wilma was the manager of The Gift Box for many years and later she and her husband, Don opened and operated The Gift Box Tea Room. She was a much loved mother and grandmother (“Grandmom”).

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald Cracraft, her sons, Jeffrey Spradling and Philip Spradling, her brother, Leonard Bell and her nephew, Steve Bell.

Wilma is survived by her three daughters, Teresa Norvell (Glenn) of Lexington, Jamie Tingle of Lexington and Lori Ervin (Gary) of Sulphur, Kentucky. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kristen Engelhardt, Heather Rothfuss, Julie Ransdell, Scott Spradling, Leslie Elayan, Keeley Merrick, Alex Tingle, Sara Canchola, Philip Todd Spradling, Dean Gregory, Eric Raisor, Trevor Raisor and Chet Ervin, and by twenty-four great grandchildren, her daughter-in-law embraced by love, Betzy Sale, her niece, Leona Bell and her great nephew, Josh Bell.

Wilma loved the Lord Jesus Christ and loved her entire family with conviction and generosity. She will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing, Nicholasville, Kentucky on Friday, September 2. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 1:00 with a funeral following at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at the Pythian Grove Cemetery in Berry, Kentucky immediately following.
