Obituary of Carson Luther Woodcock

Carson Luther “CL” Woodcock, 73, formerly of Louisville, KY, husband of Colleen Phillips Woodcock, died August 25, 2022 at his home. He was born in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Carson and Edra Woodcock on December 21, 1948. Mr. Woodcock was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, having served in Vietnam, and a retired letter carrier with the United States Postal Service. In addition to his wife of 50 years, he is survived by his daughters, Hope Woodcock (Chris Mullins) and Jennifer Woodcock Stith (John); seven grandchildren, Carson, Gloria, Lillian and Delano Mullins, Nolan, Juliana and Jude Stith; sisters, Gloria Hendricks and Donna Gilpin; sister-in-law, Faye Woodcock, and friends, Betty and Ray Ogden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant children, Tammy and Christopher Woodcock; brothers, McClellan, James and Delano Woodcock; and his sisters, Janis Woodcock and Marcella Howard.   

A Homegoing Celebration will be 2:00 PM Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Versailles Presbyterian Church. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. www.clarklegacycenter.com
