Obituary of Charlotte J. Mitchell

Charlotte J. Mitchell, 77, wife of James Larry Mitchell, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022. She was born in Henry County on August 31, 1944 to the late Phillip E. James and Mary Agnes Cravens Poole. She retired from the Department of Human Resources. Charlotte was a member of Friendship Christian Church and the Herrington Lake Yacht Club.

In addition to her husband Larry of 54 years, she is survived by her children, J.L. (Tonyia) Mitchell, Garrard Co., and Lisa R. Mitchell, Lexington; and her grandchildren, Parker Mitchell and Braedon Tyler Nemeth.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Pastor Bert Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be J.L. Mitchell, Parker Mitchell, Braedon Nemeth, Rick Garrison, and Bill Cannon. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
