Obituary of Daniel Ray Tipton

Daniel Ray Tipton, 81, husband of Donna Cox Tipton, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022. He was born in Richmond, Kentucky on March 4, 1941 to the late Roy and Alieen Bolin Tipton. He was a heavy equipment operator for Valley View Landfill. Daniel loved NASCAR, watching Westerns, and everything outdoors.

In addition to his wife of 55 years, he is survived by his daughter, Dawn (David) Monarch, Frankfort; his brother, Charles (Darlene) Tipton, Frankfort; and his grandson, Drew Mitchell, Frankfort.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Steve Broughton officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Dawn Monarch, David Monarch, Drew Mitchell, Steve Drummon, Arthur Cunningham, and Sam Elgaoni. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Crestwood Baptist Church, Frankfort.
