Phyl Fried never met a stranger and made friends everywhere she lived. Often her wonderful stories of raising a family, travels, and life adventures were the center of all social engagements.
She was an avid reader, an excellent bridge player, and had a dab hand at flower arranging.
While raising a large family in Flemingsburg, Kentucky she started an auxiliary group which raised much needed funds for the new hospital, became the first director for the adult group at Comprehend. Later, she was occupational therapist at Morton Plant in Clearwater, Florida.
Phyl was always surrounded by her much loved pets. In lieu of flowers please donate to your local animal shelter. Visitation will be on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 11am until 1pm at Clark Legacy Center in Frankfort, KY, with burial to follow at Lexington Cemetery.
