Obituary of Carole G. Kelly Seal

Frankfort – Carole G. Kelly Seal, 77, wife of Bob Seal, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. She was born in Louisville on July 19, 1944 to the late George Thomas and Marjorie M. Curry Gilkey. She worked for Kerguson Realty as the Secretary. Carole attended Pax Christi Catholic Church in Lexington before she became ill. She loved oil painting landscapes; she was extremely smart but loved to make people laugh. Carole was known for her contagious laugh and humor. She loved fearlessly and with great intensity making her very protective of her family.

In addition to her husband of 22 years, she was survived by her daughters, Becky (Paul) Tubbs, Nicholasville and Karen (Wade) Gill, Mississippi; her son, Tommy (Shan) Kelly, Frankfort; her sister, Georgia Bush, Lexington; her brother, Richard (Kathy) Gilkey, Nicholasville; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Cary (Alicia), Chloe, Joshua (Haleigh), and Grace; her great grandchildren, Braden, Kaylee, and Steven; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Donna Gilkey, Linda Redmon, and Pam McDonald.

No services are planned at this time. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis Research.
