Obituary of James "Jim" Monroe

James “Jim” Monroe, 78, husband of Sue Monroe, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. A native of Frankfort, he was born on February 21, 1944 to the late Hollis and Offie Hall Monroe. Jim was a carpenter and even after he retired, he still enjoyed tinkering. He loved fishing and working in his vegetable garden. He enjoyed participating in the 127 Yard Sale.

In addition to his wife of 50 years, he is survived by his daughters, Roxanne (Danny) Wilson, Frankfort, and Iva Monroe, Frankfort; his sons, James (Carol) Ware, Owenton, and Keith Ware, Frankfort; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Private services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
