Obituary of Lee Allen

Mrs. Lee Tevis Allen, 81, wife of Russell Allen passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022 in Lexington, KY. A native of Richmond, KY, she was born on December 5, 1940 to the late Ghoston and Nettie Tevis. She retired as a former Bank Teller with Chase Bank.

In addition to her husband Russell of 50+ years, she is survived by her Daughter Robin Dana A. (Michael) Carter, her only Granddaughter Michaela Tevis Carter, and one Sister JoAnn Clay; Special Daughters Debra (Robert) Buckner, Roberta (Charles) Davis and Pamela (Renwick) Crenshaw; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.

She was preceded in death by two Brothers, John and William Tevis, and one Sister, Ella Mae Tevis.

The Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm on Thursday, April 7th, followed by a Funeral Service at 1 pm at Clark Legacy Center- Brannon Crossing in Nicholasville, KY. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens in Nicholasville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Bluegrass Hospice Care.
