Obituary of James M. Renfro

James Mahan Renfro, 74, US Marine Corp Veteran who served this Country in the Vietnam War, and awarded two purple hearts, left this world to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Jim was born in Parkers Lake, KY on March 13, 1947 to the late Amanda Rose and James Mahan Renfro, Sr. Jim retired from Rockwell International/Meritor.  

He is survived by his wife, Sheila, of 32 years. He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Kelli Myers, Tara Davis, Tami McGarity; sons, Keith Renfro, David Dodd; sisters, Patty Wyatt, Betty Haley; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. 

 Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Imogene Renfro, Lois Greene, and Faye Hamlin; and brother, Warren Renfro.  

A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 from 12-1PM, Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing, with a celebration of life service at 1PM. Graveside service will immediately follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY at 2:30PM with military honors.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors
