Obituary of David Slezak

David Slezak, 81, husband of Frances Slezak, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022. He was born in Flint, Michigan on October 9, 1940 to the late William and Ann Goodhand Slezak. He retired from General Motors as a Journeyman Tool and Dye Maker, and he was a Veteran of the US Navy. David was a member of Journey Church; he loved people and he loved God. He was an artist; he always enjoyed working with wood, metal, and stained glass. He was always building things and he could do anything. David was an amazing and hardworking man. He will be greatly missed by his family and his friends.

In addition to his wife of 31 years, he is survived by his daughter, Amy Slezak, Michigan; his stepdaughter, Anne (Tim) Turner, GA; his godson, William McGregor, Frankfort; his stepson, Matthew Stewart, Louisville; and his brother, Bob (Ginny) Slezak.

No services are planned at this time. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of the Bluegrass.
