Obituary of Michael Oliver Atkerson

Michael Oliver Atkerson, Sr., 58, died on Tues. February 22, 2022 in Lancaster, KY.  He was born in Lexington, KY on December 24, 1963 to the late Elmer and Betty Atkerson.  Michael is survived by one son, Michael Oliver (Erin Robinson) Atkerson, Jr., Corbin, KY; five grandchildren, Alayla Atkerson, Aiden Atkerson, Abel Atkerson, Branson Thomas, and Camden Thomas; one brother, Ken (Amy) Atkerson, Lexington, KY; a brother-in-law, Donnie Williams, Sr., Lancaster, KY; many nieces, nephews and extended family.  A special thanks to his nephew, Donnie Williams, Jr. for being a close friend.  He is preceded in death by two sisters, Susan Williams and Debbie Cox.  Services are pending at this time.
