Obituary of Larry "Hotshot" Douglas Montgomery

Larry “Hotshot” Douglas Montgomery, 71, husband of Lucy Mink Montgomery, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022. He was born in Nicholasville, KY on April 10, 1950 to the late Ruth Weber Harvey and Charles Montgomery. Mr. Montgomery was self-employed and worked as a farmer. 

Besides his wife Lucy of 50 years, those left to cherish his memory includes his daughter,Victonda (James) Trent; sister, Marsha (Wayne) Lowry; brother, Danny (Mary) Montgomery; grandchildren, Shawn Montgomery, Tiffany Trent, Jeremy Trent, Cody Harrison, and Calab Harrison. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Montgomery is preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Harrison; and brother, Charles R. Montgomery.  

Visitation will be Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 1pm until 2pm, at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Memorial service will follow at 2pm with Brother Lonnie Moore officiating.
