Honestly can't think of anyone in my 50 years of employment that I admired more than Jenny. Serving as Planning & Zoning Administrator at a time when Woodford County was new to zoning and new to the idea of a Comprehensive Plan she went toe to toe with many who saw zoning as an enemy to development and profit. Few probably are aware of the 'threats' delivered her way but she never coward down. I was just out of high school and very naive' as to what she was up against but I never forgot the fortitude I witnessed and the integrity with which she operated when she gave a young inexperienced girl her first 'desk' job. No surprise she would later go on to serve as our County's Judge Executive, a huge accomplishment at the time. They broke the mold on that one there will never be another like her and I am honored to have known and worked for her. Until next time, Jenny; Fly On!
