Deborah Gail Kelly

Obituary of Deborah Gail Kelly

Deborah Gail Kelly, 61 of Lexington,Ky. passed away peacefully on January 28th, 2022. Debbie was so full of love and life, always having a smile on her face no matter the situation. She was an avid softball mom, never missing a game and the proudest parent of her Marine, her son her hero.  Debbie's biggest pride and joy was her family, and she never missed an opportunity to spend time with them.  She loved her brothers and sisters with a fierceness that couldn't be matched, and just being with them was all she ever needed.  Perhaps even more than her love for her brothers and sisters was the love she had for her children and grandchildren.  Debbie never missed an opportunity to brag on her kids or grandchildren and always had pictures to show off.  Her face would light up when the grandchildren were around, and she was never without a treat  to give to her grandbabies. Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, John and Norma Land.  She is survived by her daughter Amanda Kelly-Riggs (Amy), son Matthew Kelly (Laura), her four grandchildren Haden and Parker Kelly, and Mason and Skylar Kelly-Riggs. She also leaves behind her brothers and sisters Daryl Land (Rhonda), Diana Stamper (Wayne), Darlena Fox (Jon), Duron Land, and a host of nieces and nephews.  As a parting message from her children, they ask that you never take one second of life for granted and enjoy every memory made for life that is too short for anything other.  A gathering of family and friends will be 1pm-3pm Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Rd followed by a celebration of life service at 3pm.
