Richard was a proud graduate of Penn State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mining & Engineering in 1965. Richard loved sports, cars, bourbon & his family. His favorite teams were Penn State, UK (except when they played Penn State) & the Pittsburgh Steelers. His go to bourbon of choice was Woodford Reserve, although he did enjoy a good Scotch every now & then. He loved classic cars & sports cars, but never had one to call his own, until June 2021 when he finally got his dream car, a C8 Corvette! He was also a hard-working, loving family man who treasured every minute with his family.
