Obituary of Bettie Brown Conder

Frankfort – Bettie Brown Conder, 83, wife of Joseph Nicholas Conder, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021. A native of Woodford County, she was born on August 1, 1938 to the late Orvell and Dora Bush Washington. She worked for the Department of Tourism for the State of Kentucky. Bettie loved to watch TV and enjoyed recording her shows. She was an avid University of Louisville Cardinal Fan. She loved spending time with her grandkids, and getting her hair and nails done.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Brittney Ashley Brownlee, Frankfort, and Jo Ann Washington, Lexington; her sons, John Brooks (Melissa) Mulder, Jr, and Wendell Lee Mulder, Frankfort; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, who were loved dearly by their grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Bishop Ben Carter and Rev. Leslie Whitlock officiating. Burial will be held at Midway Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be John Mulder, Wendell Mulder, Wendell Mulder Jr., Ricky Yett, Craig Brownlee Jr., and Jaylin Mulder. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
