Obituary of Robert Thacker Sr.

Lexington - Robert Nelson Thacker, Sr., 83, passed away Wednesday September 1, 2021 in Winchester. Robert was born in Lexington on July 30, 1938 to the late Zachary Thacker and Mattie Gardner. He was retired from the City of Lexington. Survivors include his daughters, Charlotte Thacker, Denise Watkins, Carrie Blackburn, Chantelle (Chris) Shelton Fugate, son, Robert Nelson (Sondra)Thacker Jr., life long friend, Carrie Miller, plus several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday September 9, 2021, 1:30pm at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
