Obituary of Robert Lee Redmon

Robert “Bobby” Lee Redmon, 80, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021. Husband to the late Linda Faye Smith Redmon, Bobby was born October 27, 1940 to James and Nora Tucker Redmon in Frankfort, Kentucky. Bobby enjoyed watching westerns, walking the mall downtown, never meeting a stranger, and loved to eat at Captain D’s. But above all, he loved his family. Bobby was very close to his siblings and grandchildren and valued the time spent with them. He will be missed. 

Bobby is survived by his children, Suzanne Keith, Michael (Sherri) Redmon, Kenny (Beverly) Redmon, and Robert Redmon, Jr, all of Frankfort; his sisters, Joyce Rice and Loucille Edwards both of Frankfort; a brother, James Redmon of Frankfort; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.  

In addition to his wife, Linda Faye Smith Redmon and parents, James and Nora Tucker Redmon, Bobby was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Morris; a son, Ricky Redmon; and a brother, Carl Redmon. 

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Rev. Terry Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Frankfort Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Matthew Keith, William McKinny, Joe Pullum, Allen Redmon, Francisco Melo, David Simpson, and Christopher Keith. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
