Obituary of Linda L. Coyle

Linda L. Coyle, 77, wife of the late Jack F. Coyle, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, in Lexington.  Ms. Coyle was born in Georgetown, Kentucky on August 18,1943 to the late Vivian Henage and Clarence Currans. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Ms. Coyle loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren; they were her world.

She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Coyle and Libby Coyle Showalter, both of Nicholasville; her sister, Anita Duncan, Georgetown; grandchildren, Mark Coyle, Brittany Richardson, Angel Richardson and Brandon Showalter; great grandsons, Dylan McGuire, Zayden Olding, Braylin Olding, Coltan Johnson, Jr., Kingston Shaw, Waylon Shaw and Cason Johnson; soon to be great granddaughter, Addilynn Lou Shaw; and many nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Robyn Jeannine Coyle; and her siblings, June Vance, Richard Dean Wright, Buster Currans; and brother-in-law, Porter Duncan.  

Visitation for Ms. Coyle will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. A memorial service will follow at 3:00PM.  Honorary casketbearers will be Dylan McGuire, Mark Coyle, Brandon Showalter, Ivan Shaw, Michael Hampton, Sam Blythe and Darrek Cains.  

The family would like to extend a thank you to the wonderful staff at Cambridge Place Nursing Home for the great care they showed Linda during her time there. A special thank you to Miguel and Brandie.
