Obituary of Mike Martin

Versailles – Mike Martin, 67, husband of Diane Coovert Martin, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021. He was born in Hampton, OH on June 4, 1953. He was a tow truck driver for Carey’s Towing.  

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Leslie White, Versailles, Michael (Stephanie) Coovert, Versailles, Martin (Nina) Coovert, and Steven (Felicia) Coovert; his brother, Danny Martin, Lawrenceburg; and his grandchildren, Matthew Coovert, Alexis Coovert, Jake White, and Brianna Coovert.  

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Hailey White; and his nephew, Dougie Martin.  

Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Rev. Frank Layne will be officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Crest Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Michael Coovert, Martin Coovert, Steven Coovert, Wayne Aldridge, Sammy Martin, and Eddie Carey. Chase Carey will serve as an honorary casketbearer. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
