Obituary of Gary Terry

Gary Terry, 62, husband of Cathy T. Terry, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 surrounded by his family. Gary was born in Danville, Kentucky on February 9, 1959 to Gail and the late Mary Duggins and Gary and Jeannette Terry. Gary always enjoyed his time with friends at Keeneland, pouring himself into work and was an avid supporter of WYSA and Woodford County Girls Soccer. In addition to his wife of 36 years and parents, he is survived by his daughters, Erin (James) Schreiner, Versailles, Caitlin (Joe) Rickert, Lexington and Kenzie Terry, Versailles; his grandchildren, Tucker James Schreiner, Grayson Thomas Schreiner, and Connelly Rickert; and his sisters, Lisa (Greg) Brown, TX, Kathryn (Kirk) Leigh, Danville, and Jennifer Terry, Danville. Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Friday, April 9, 2021 at Vineyard Community Church in Lexington with Kevin Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Versailles Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be James Schreiner, Joe Rickert, David Gould, Chad Egbert, Gary Larimore, Greg Brown and Willie Tupts. Honorary casketbearers will be Bobby Gould, Jack Whitaker, Ray Price, Bob Shuey, Marty Coomer, and friends of the American Legion Post 67. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MD Anderson Cancer Center Honor Loved Ones
