Obituary of Susan Carol Williams

Susan Carol Williams, a beloved wife, mother and Ganma, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones who will always carry her in their hearts. She was born to the late Elmer Oliver and Betty Evelyn Hammond Atkerson on December 20, 1951. She has two brothers, Mike (Bridget) and Kenny (Amy). She married Donald G. Williams, Sr., a man she loved with all her heart for over 50 years. Together they have three children, Leslie, Kim (Robert), and Donnie, Jr. She has six grandchildren, Bobby (Whitney), Chasity, Amanda, Megan, Eddie and Willie; and fourteen great grandchildren, Dalton, Ashlyn, Olivia, Cameron, Gerald, Avery, Trenton, Cayden, Oakley, Axel, Bently, Levi, Rainn and Raven. Susan was the light of the family. It was amazing to see such a small woman with such a huge heart. She loved spending time with her family. She always had a smile on her face and made sure those around her had a smile too. She loved teasing all her great grandkids and gave them the oddest nicknames which they loved. She was a lending hand and ear in any situation, at any time, for any person, asking nothing in return. A woman with so much love in her heart, she never ran out. She will be deeply and truly missed from all those who love her.   A Celebration of Life Service will be 6:00 PM Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 5:00 PM until the time of service.
