Obituary of Taylor Whitehead

Taylor Whitehead, Lexington, KY passed away Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021 at Thomson Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, KY.  Taylor was born in Hyden, KY on Dec. 26, 1935 to the late John and Amy Whitehead.  He was a Staff Sergeant in the US Army and retired from being a Steel Fabricator.   He loved fishing and UK Basketball.  He is survived by a sister, Fannie Roberts, Hyden, KY and a host of children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his wife, Judy and daughter Nancy.  A private graveside will be held at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, we suggest donations to the Thomson Hood Veterans Center or any Veteran related organization.
