Obituary of Curtis Lee Langston

VERSAILLES- Curtis Lee Langston, 72, husband of Patricia O’Brien Langston, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021. He was born in Pink Hill, North Carolina to the late Allen John and Eliza Jane Lee Langston on August 16, 1948. Mr. Langston, a graduate of Western Kentucky University, retired after 35 years of Civil Service for the Federal Government, Fort Knox, Kentucky from DOIM. He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army and a member of Versailles Baptist Church. In addition to his wife of 51 years, he is survived by his children, Elizabeth Richardson, Versailles, John Brien Langston, Versailles, and Thomas Lee (Erin) Langston, PA; his grandchildren, Dillon John Langston, PA, Haley Elizabeth Langston (Troy Hollar) PA, Megan Teresa (Josh) McGeorge, KY, Garret Thomas (Corynn) Langston, PA, and Curtis Tucker (Rebekah) Langston, UT; great grandchildren, Rose Elizabeth Hollar, PA, Eliza Jane and John Henry Langston, both of UT; brother in law, Carrol Jones, NC; nephews, Ronnie Owen Stroud, Christopher Lynn Jones, and Ralph Carrol Jones; and niece, Amy Langston, all of NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Faye Langston Jones and his brother Allen Mark Langston.

A Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care at UK Healthcare (bgcarenav.org) or Disabled American Veterans (dav.org).
