Obituary of Jerald Ray Bottom

Jerald Ray Bottom, 63, died of natural causes on February 2, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Dolores Bottom. Jerald is also survived by two brothers, Bobby (Evelyn)  and Johnny (Mary Ruth), a half brother, Ricky (Debbie) and a half sister, Kim Brewer, two brothers-in-law, Dr. Robert Thompson (Jennifer) and Dr. Doug Owen and five nieces. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Bottom; father, Robert Clarence Bottom;  stepmother, Ruth Bottom and his nephew Brandon Bottom. 

Jerald was known to have a kind and generous heart. He loved his sports, baseball, football and basketball. He worked for 28 years as a Foreman in sheet metal. He showed his artistic talents in painting cement statues, he loved landscaping. He partook in the building of the WT Young Library. He was also an avid animal lover and any donations may be made to the Lexington Humane Society. 

He is surrounded by a big group of friends that love him dearly. 

Visitation will be held 12-2 PM, Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. We do ask that you follow mandated rules for Covid.
