Obituary of Brenda L. Griggs

Brenda Louise Griggs, 77, wife of Bobby Griggs, passed away on January 7, 2021. Mrs. Griggs was born in Lexington, Kentucky on January 1, 1944 to Marjorie Kerr Lucas and the late Clifford Lucas. She loved taking care of animals, especially dogs. Her family often lovingly referred to her at the "Clorox Queen" as she loved to clean. Mrs. Griggs was a true giver and always made sure everyone was taken care of.

In addition to her mother and her husband of 59 years, she is survived by her daughters, Leslie Huff (Wallace Burton) and Leann (Boain) Fraley, both of Nicholasville; sister, Yvonne (Jesse) Hollon, Winchester; grandchildren, Ashley Hall (Jesse Meeks), Hagen (Brandon) Lee, Morgan (Melissa) Henderson and Dawson Fraley; great grandchildren, Ashton Roberts, Madison Hall, Kaden Lee, Wyatt Lee, Abigail Henderson, Elliott Henderson and Brinley Henderson; great great grandchildren, Easton and August Roberts; and her beloved dog, Bill. 

Due to Covid-19 and the pandemic, private family services will be held in order to keep everyone safe during these trying times. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mrs. Griggs to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
