My sincere condolences to Mr. Ehmen's family. The last time I had seen and spoke to Ben was in 1978 when The National Shirt Shop's doors were permanently closed. Ben's office was in my store on 4th Street on the corner of 4th and what was then called Walnut Street, now called Mahammad Ali in downtown Louisville. He was the best dressed man I knew. I was second best, ha ha. I remember his responsibilities included about 7 stores at that time. He was one of the kindest people I had ever known. I was thinking about Ben this morning so I googled his name, not knowing that he had passed and of course was very saddened. My prayers go out to Ben's family and friends. Sincerely, Gary Koestel from New Albany, IN.

Ben....Wow!
Words are not enough to express the joy that emanated from this wonderful man. I had the blessing of having Ben in my Bible Study class, Make Us One, for several years. He was a most devoted husband and my husband, Don, and I were very inspired by the example of Ben and Jeanette as a devoted couple. Ben loved to give His Savior a "praise-out" by singing "How Great Thou Art"...often. Ben will always be a part of us. His last few months were difficult so we celebrate that he is with the Lord without confusion or pain. Love you, Ben!
