Obituary of John William Wells

<b>John William Wells</b> <b>John William Wells</b>, 60, of Versailles, husband of Jenny Selby Wells passed away Friday January 30, 2009 at the VA hospital. He was the son of the late Bert and Sara Lee Mullikin Wells, a retired mail handler for the US Postal Service, a veteran of the US Army having served in the Vietnam War and was a Kentucky Colonel. Survivors other than his wife are daughters Cassie Grace Wells, Versailles and Bailey Jean Wells, Newport, his son Ethan William Wells, Versailles, sisters, Barbara Mowery, Nelda Derrick, Norma Compton, Charlotte Downing, Martha Reynolds, Sharon Morgan and Christy Lucas, brothers, Charlie Wells, Bert "Bope" Wells and Larry Wells. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Nathan Paul, Steve and David Wells. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4 to 7 pm Friday with a Reflection of Life service to follow at 7:00 pm at Clark Legacy Center..
