<b>Obituary</b> Lexington - James Roger Williams, 79, husband of Ann A. Williams, of Lexington, died April 1, 2013 after a long illness. He was the son of the late Will L. and Blanch Johnson Williams of Caretta, West Virginia. James was sergeant of the Fayette County Police for eight years and a retired office manager of Jiffy Fastening Systems. He was a seven-time Dean's List alum of the Kentucky Business College and was elected to Who's Who in business colleges. He earned an associate degree in accounting and business administration. James was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean conflict, where he earned seven Combat Stars, was a Military Policy Investigator and CID Agent. He is survived by his sons, James Williams and Michael Williams; his daughter, Kimberly Henderson; and one grandson, Norman James Henderson. Graveside services will be held 1:30 pm at Camp Nelson National Cemetery on Friday, April 5, 2013.
