Obituary of William Clay Corey

William Clay Corey, 86, died Thursday, June 10, 2010. Mr. Corey was born to the late Clay and Jane Corey on September 9, 1923, in Bath County, Kentucky. He served as a Sargeant in the U.S. Army during World War II. Because of his valor, Mr. Corey was bestowed a Purple Heart. Mr. Corey is survived by two sons, Bill (Deanna) Corey of Lexington and Mike (Debbie) Corey of Winchester. He also is survived by two grandchildren, Kellie and Casey Corey. Private family services will be held at a later date.
