Obituary of Alfred "Sonny" Curtis

<b>Alfred Brinton "Sonny" Curtis</b> <b>Alfred Brinton "Sonny" Curtis</b>, 80, passed away Thursday, January 15th. He was the son of the late Eugene and Hattie Curtis. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Betty, two daughters, Brinley Curtis, Lexington and Holly Phipps, Monument, CO., granddaughter, Tiffanie Phipps, Lexington, sister Phyllis Miller and brother Joseph Curtis, Ashland, a brother Gene Curtis, Darlington, SC., and his two beloved dogs. He was a retired employee of CSX Railroad, a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War, member of Cathedral of Christ the King Church, the American Legion, BPOE #350, and a Kentucky Colonel. A funeral mass will be held at 9:00 am Tuesday at Cathedral of Christ the King Church officiated by Father Theodore Keller. Internment at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Following burial the family will host a reception to celebrate Sonny's Life at Clark Legacy Center, Online guest book at www.clarklegacycenter.com. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. <b>Funeral Information</b> Funeral Mass will be 9:00 am Tuesday January 20, 2009.
