Obituary of Veronica Hoehn Hebenstreit

Veronica Hoehn Hebenstreit, 78, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020. Loving wife of the late Thomas P. Hebenstreit, Veronica was born May 20, 1942 to the late Milton and Alice Furst Hoehn in Cincinnati, OH. Veronica and Thomas built a lifetime of love and fond memories together and would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on November 3rd. During their time, they had 3 beautiful children, whom Veronica dedicated her life, being the best mother she could. Baking homemade bread and warm cookies, using her seamstress skills to make clothes for their children, and the girl’s dolls, and introducing her family to sandy beaches and ocean sunsets. While Thomas was a golfer and gardener, Veronica enjoyed crafting, bingo, bowling, yard sales, and auctions. Boating was always a family adventure. Veronica is survived by her daughters, Sheri (William) Bell, Frankfort and Loreli (Scott) Leedy, Winchester; sisters, Mary Rumpke, OH, Tecla Sand, OH, Clare (Albert) Roberts, OH, and Sylvia (Ben) Denis, CA; brothers, George (Laura) Hoehn, IN, Bucky (Yvonne) Hoehn, NC, Kenny Hoehn, OH, David Hoehn, OH, and Gerry Hoehn, OH; grandchildren, Nikki Milner, Lexington, Kristin (Jonathan) West, Harrodsburg, Cierra Sutton, NY, Wendy Hebenstreit, FL, and Maddison Hebenstreit, FL; and her great grandchildren, Kyler and Kora West. In addition to her husband, Thomas P. Hebenstreit, and parents, Milton and Alice Furst Hoehn, Veronica was preceded in death by her son, Albert Paul Hebenstreit; sister, Connie Lishko; brother, Milton Hoehn; and a grandson, Trevor Milner. A Funeral Service will be held 4:00pm, Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd in Frankfort. Visitation will be from 2:00pm until the time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Memorial Contributions be made to the Franklin County Humane Society.
