Obituary of Denise Andrea Lott Wilks
Denise Andrea Lott Wilks, 62, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. She was born in Sharon, PA on February 7, 1958 to Chief Helper Bishop John Lott, Jr (State Elder Jeanette Lott) and the late Idella Harper Dessaw. She was a traveling registered nurse and an ordained minister. She loved missionary work and was a humanitarian. Denise organized Dee’s Elegant Fans and loved reading and writing short stories.
She is survived by her god-children, Alex Jenkins, FL and Shannon Dawkins; two special friends, Rev Kimberly Green and Dorrie Adams; her sisters, Darlene (Johnny) Mumford, Louisville, Michelle (Francois), OH, Rochelle (Stanley) Pickens, GA, and Rosalyn (Wilbur) Sanders, MI; her brothers, Darryl (Clara) Lott, GA, David (Patricia) Lott, FL, John (Shaleena) Lott III, FL, Jonathan Lott Sr, Chundra Lott, KY, Douglas Stevenson, MI, and Pierre Stevenson, MI; her 8 god-grandchildren; aunts, Geraldine Williams, Permmer Lewis, Lois (Ed) McNair, and Alene Harper; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Celebrating life Tuesday, October 27, 2020 will be private and BY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT ONLY, via John Lott, III.
