Obituary of Mike McCollum

LEXINGTON- Mike McCollum, 59, husband of Kedith Johnson McCollum, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020. A native of Lexington, Kentucky he was born on April 21, 1961 to Herma Ruth McCollum and the late Kenneth Dean McCollum. Mr. McCollum was in the machinery industry and had a love for cars. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Mason McCollum, Lexington; sisters, Michelle (Jimmy) Stevens, Harrodsburg and Cynthia Rowe, Napa, CA; nieces, Jennifer (George) Herring and Jessica (Chad) Worthington; great nieces, Madison Herring and Emily Worthington; great nephews, Logan Herring, Kendall Worthington and Noah Worthington; and his cousin, Ken Hamilton. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his beloved little chihuahua, Moe. A Celebration of Life service will be 5:00 PM Friday, October 16, 2020 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. A Gathering of Family and Friends will follow until 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
