Obituary of Jackie O. Mattingly

Jackie O. Mattingly, 67, husband of Vivian Mattingly of 36 years passed away surrounded by friends and family after a short battle with cancer on April 30, 2020 at his residence. He was born on December 17, 1952 in Versailles, KY to the late Henry Mattingly and Lucille York. Jackie was a graduate of Lafayette High School and an optical manager at Simpson Optical for more than 30 years. He was an avid UK Basketball and Miami Hurricanes Football fan. Other than his wife Vivian he is survived by his children, Daniel (Lauren) Mattingly, Jessica (Chris) Mattingly and Heather (Nick) Marshall; grandchildren, Kaleb, Kylie Rick, Hayden, Ava, Skylar and Vivian. A Gathering of family and friends will be Sat. April 24, 2021 from 4pm-6pm at Clark Legacy Center - Brannon Rd with a service to follow at 6pm.
