Reneca Ann McKinster, 82, of Versailles, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2023, from Alzheimer’s. Reneca was born March 21, 1940 in Charlie, Kentucky to Aubrey and Alkie Bevins. In addition to being a loving devoted wife and mother, she worked at Suzanne’s Dress Shop in Lexington, Kentucky; in the Woodford County School System preparing and serving meals; she was a member of and held several offices in the Woodford County Homemakers Association.
She was a member of Fayette Chapel United Baptist Church, Paris, Kentucky. She’s survived by her husband of 66 years, Milton; daughter, Debbie (Jeff) Cooper; daughter, Teresa Hardy; granddaughter, Tarah (Alex) LeBlanc; granddaughter, Lynette (Manuel) Cordero; grandson, Nathan (Stephanie) Cooper; grandson, Blake (Emily) Combs. Ten great grandchildren, Addison Cooper (17 yrs), Tessa Caliz (12 yrs),
Dylan Hartley (12 yrs), Andrew Hardy (12 yrs), Alivia Cooper (12 yrs), Niko Cordero (9 yrs), Eliza Caliz (9 yrs), Elena Combs (4 yrs), Myra Aubrey Cordero (4 yrs), Merrick LeBlanc (7 months); sister, Carol Sue Green. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Ireda and Don Scarberry; sister-in-law, Patricia Wills; and granddaughter, Amanda Cooper.
The funeral service will take place Saturday, March 4, at Clark Legacy Funeral Home in Frankfort, Kentucky. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 9AM to 11AM at the funeral home. Brother Cecil C. Murray Jr and Brother Bruce Fyffe of Fayette Chapel United Baptist Church will officiate. Pall bearers will be Nathan Cooper, Blake Combs, Jeff Cooper, Todd Howard, Manuel Cordero, Alex LeBlanc, Dylan Hartley (honorary), and Niko Cordero (honorary).
