Betty Jean Dean Mefford, 91 passed away Monday, February 13, 2023. Betty was born to the late Elmer and Katherine Dean in Frankfort.
Betty is survived by her daughters Linda Wilson, Brenda Mefford, Nina (Steve) Anglin all of Frankfort, a brother John D. (Kathy) Dean of Fergus Falls, MN., sister-in-law Ann Dean, Shelbyville, her granddaughters Michelle Woolums (Marty Aldridge), Christie (Robert) Rogers, Jennifer (Mark) Bannister, Rebecca (Jason) Dickison, great grandchildren Stephen Woolums, Billy Aldridge, Alisa Rogers, Emily Rogers, Kaylin Rogers, Audrey Bannister, and great-great granddaughter Cora Maxwell.
Betty was preceded in death by her siblings Beulah (Homer) Burke, Louise (Elmer) White, Louisville, Florence (Juney) Baxter, Pansy (Chico) Almadovar, Florida, Bill (Carolyn) Dean, Floyd Dean, Texas, Larry Dean, Shelbyville, Benny Dean, son in law Donnie Wilson, her lifelong best friend Betty Clark and her love Estil Sharp.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00am on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort, with Rev. Ann Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort, with Steve Anglin, Marty Aldridge, Stephen Woolums, Billy Aldridge, Mark Bannister, and Jason Dickison serving as Pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00p until 8:00p on Monday, February 20, 2023, at the funeral home.
